Election Update: City Council, City Judge, and now Circuit Court Clerk

We are finishing up Week #4 in the race to qualify for Clarksville City Council and City Judge. The qualification period opened on Monday, June 22nd and the deadline to return petitions is August 20th. This week, three more candidates have officially qualified in their respective City Council races.

26-year-old LaTonya Walthour was charged with vandalism after throwing a man’s clothing onto the ground outside of the Tru by Hilton hotel. Further investigation revealed the man’s clothing had been doused in spit and an unknown liquid and had tire marks from being run over.

18-year-old Brittney Cartwright was charged with domestic assault after kicking an unidentified man several times in the stomach during a dispute about her taking his phone, per report.

Clarksville parolee steals boots, mounted television from local dry cleaner

53-year-old Aaron Wilson was charged with three counts of burglary after stealing cash, a flat screen television and a pair of combat boots from the Eagle Plaza Alterations and Dry Cleaners on Tiny Town Rd. Wilson had previously been on parole for burglary, per report.

Clarksville man throws rock at child-occupied vehicle during dispute with woman

34-year-old Thomas West was charged with vandalism and reckless endangerment after hurling a large landscaping rock into the windshield of a woman’s vehicle during a dispute. The woman advised that her juvenile son was in the vehicle at the time of the incident but did not sustain any injuries.

Clarksville man hurls ashtray and blood, coffee table gets flipped during dispute

39-year-old Joshua Donahoo was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and violation of probation after throwing an ashtray at two unidentified individuals during a dispute and then flung some of his own blood onto one of them.

Woman charged after accusation of being “overly aggressive” with autistic victim

22-year-old Ta’Sauna Hunt was charged with domestic assault after striking a woman in the head during a dispute that reportedly originated with another woman who has been diagnosed with autism and was having “fits”.

Two men argue and fight into a chokehold over invited apartment guest

22-year-old Jose Crispin was charged with aggravated assault after placing an unidentified man into a chokehold during a dispute about him having a friend over. Crispin later admitted to drinking prior to the assault.

July 4th Scuffle: Clarksville resident kicks, strikes man during dispute

41-year-old Thomas Pedigo was charged with domestic assault after punching and kicking an unidentified male who was attempting to defuse an earlier situation. The man did sustain injuries from the attack, per report.

40-year-old Joshua Moreland was charged with domestic assault after admitting to police that he tossed coffee onto an unidentified woman, per report.
