In the races for Clarksville City Council and Judge, four more citizens have qualified for election in their respective wards. One new citizen has picked up a petition for qualification since last week. The qualification period opened on Monday, June 22nd and the deadline to return the petitions is August 20th.
29-year-old Sergio Estrada-Preciado was charged with three counts of aggravated assault after he strangled his girlfriend at the A & W Hotel on Madison Street and threatened to kill her and her family if she reported it to police, per report.
67-year-old Della Wise was charged with domestic assault after slapping another woman across the face during a dispute where the woman was accused of stealing Wise’s phone charger.
55-year-old George Kilgore was charged with domestic assault after he threw a woman’s belongings, swung at her and tried to hit her in the face, and scratched her arm. When questioned by police, Kilgore denied that anything happened.
39-year-old Richmond Caudill was charged with aggravated burglary after a witness observed the man attempting to break into a neighboring resident’s home through the crawlspace of the house.
29-year-old Nathaniel Gatlin was charged with public intoxication after being found by police at the intersection of 8th and Marion Street with a bottle of vodka nearly emptied. As he was being transported to jail, he smashed his head into a patrol car divider resulting in injury to himself.

34-year-old Erma Tippy was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license, resisting arrest, four counts of assault, and violation of the implied consent law after attacking multiple officers while being detained and a nurse when being medically cleared at Tennova.
33-year-old Antoine Gray was charged with possession of cocaine for resale and tampering with evidence after being found with over a half gram of cocaine in his rear end during a traffic stop regarding an expired temporary tag.
