Clarksville man throws rock at child-occupied vehicle during dispute with woman

34-year-old Thomas West was charged with vandalism and reckless endangerment after hurling a large landscaping rock into the windshield of a woman’s vehicle during a dispute. The woman advised that her juvenile son was in the vehicle at the time of the incident but did not sustain any injuries.

On July 8th, Officer Dill was dispatched to 1507 Cobra Ln regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Dill made contact with an unidentified woman. According to the affidavit, the woman and Thomas West had been involved in a verbal altercation. During the dispute, West reportedly obtained a large landscaping rock and hurled it in the direction of the woman’s vehicle.

The rock struck the vehicle and destroyed its windshield, per report. The woman’s juvenile son was inside the vehicle when West threw the rock but did not sustain any injuries from the act.

Thomas West was arrested and charged with vandalism and reckless endangerment. His bond was set at $3,000.
