Drug task force finds 0.77 grams of meth during ‘bust’ at Meadow Motel

45-year-old John Montgomery was charged violation of community corrections, public intoxication, and two counts of possession, meth violation, and drug paraphernalia when the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force served an arrest warrant at Meadow Motel finding meth, pipes, syringes, etc.

On July 1st, the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force’s agents served an arrest warrant for the defendant, John Montgomery, at Meadow Motel (1991 Madison Street) Room 112.

Montgomery was placed into custody when the agents arrived and searched the hotel room with consent. During the search, the agents found a syringe with 0.27 grams of methamphetamine inside as well as a baggie containing half a gram of methamphetamine. There were also numerous Ziploc baggies, multiple digital scales, and several syringes all with residue in or on them. After the agents read him his Miranda rights he admitted that all of the materials found during the search belonged to him.

John Montgomery was arrested and charged with violation of community corrections, public intoxication, and two counts of possession, meth violation, and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $28,500.
