18-year-old Brittney Cartwright was charged with domestic assault after kicking an unidentified man several times in the stomach during a dispute about her taking his phone, per report.
On July 5th, Officer Derico was dispatched to 111 Duncan Street in regards to a report of domestic violence. Upon arrival, Derico made contact with Brittney Cartwright and an unidentified male. According to the affidavit, the two were involved in a verbal dispute due to Cartwright taking the man’s phone without his permission.
Cartwright reportedly kicked the man multiple times in the abdomen following attempts to retrieve his property. No injuries were observable on the male from the attack.
Brittney Cartwright was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $500.
