On 5-13-2020 at approximately 0035 hours CPD officers were dispatched to the 2800 Block of Cobalt Drive, due to multiple 911 calls of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a 42-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to Tennova Medical Center and died as a result of his injuries. The victim has been identified as Christopher Young of Clarksville.
43-year-old Krista Castillo was charged with domestic assault after she grabbed her daughter’s neck for wanting to leave the home with her children, per report.
24-year-old Taylor Slider was charged with aggravated assault after he got upset with his wife, snatched her phone and threw it against the wall, then proceeded to wrap his hands around her neck and apply pressure causing her to be unable to breathe.
41-year-old Michael Hiller was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene with damage, and no driver’s license after he was involved in a car accident, asked the other party to not call police, then walked away and was found intoxicated behind a building across the street.
31-year-old Jon Paul Proctor was charged with tampering with evidence after his father reported to police that he may have overdosed and led to the discovery of “suspected heroin” to be found in his toilet.
28-year-old Sarah Lewis was charged with aggravated assault after her husband reported to police that she tried hitting him several times and made contact once in his left rib cage. There was an active COR for a similar issue between the couple in the past.
49-year-old Terry Latham was charged with possession of meth, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and possession without a prescription after being reported as an unwanted guest at Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
