40-year-old Michael “Tubs” Tuberville was charged with domestic assault after dry firing a blank round from a sawed-off shotgun in his brother’s face when they decided to fight and things escalated. Tuberville struck his brother in the head with the stock of the shotgun after he fired.
28-year-old Benzel Smith was charged with assault and resisting arrest after a medical call for service turned violent in the back of an ambulance.
20-year-old Zachary Holloway was charged with assault on an officer, vandalism, public intoxication, and resisting arrest after he went ballistic and threw stuff around in his stepmother’s garage, ran when she called the police, and had to be tased to be apprehended.
On 5-13-2020 at approximately 0035 hours CPD officers were dispatched to the 2800 Block of Cobalt Drive, due to multiple 911 calls of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a 42-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to Tennova Medical Center and died as a result of his injuries. The victim has been identified as Christopher Young of Clarksville.
24-year-old Lacy Squires was charged with assault on an officer and public intoxication after she was reported for being intoxicated in the Tennova ER in Sango where she was being combative with staff and kicked an officer in the face, per report.
41-year-old Clifton Cunningham was charged with driving under the influence after his vehicle left the roadway on Peachers Mill Road where he was found unresponsive and required emergency medical personnel to administer Narcan.
