Tarboosh associates seek after-hours permit for new club, KTK, despite criminal complaints

The after-hours club KTK located at 3441 Fort Campbell Boulevard was the scene for multiple public disturbances in the early morning hours after their soft opening on September 4th. The business is now seeking an after-hours permit from the city.

On October 8th at 10 a.m., the Clarksville After Hours Establishment Board will meet with one application consideration on the agenda. The application is for the after-hours club KTK located on 3441 Fort Campbell Boulevard. The location has already been the backdrop for a reported sexual assault of a dancer perpetrated by a felon, the arrest of a woman who was already out on bond for domestic assault who was charged with public intoxication, and a DUI charge for a man found passed out in a ditch in the establishment’s shared parking lot.

All three of the incidents occurred in the early morning hours after KTK’s soft opening. Despite the fact that the club was open, with dancers, the application was dated September 8th, four days after they commenced operations. While KTK’s business license was registered to the address 118 Strawberry Alley Unit E, the after-hours application was filled out with 118 Strawberry Alley Unit A, to include a handwritten correction on the form changing the unit from E to A.

The applicant Amer Hantouli and family member Fatah Hantouli own multiple recreational establishments around Clarksville to include Tarboosh and Hookah 21. Tarboosh was shut down for fire code violations in June and agreed to a six-month liquor license suspension in August.
