Man found with meth, a gun, more meth, scales, another gun, more meth, and fentanyl

22-year-old Dionte Cornelius Gunn was charged with possession of meth, fentanyl, paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm after multiple residents of Ramblewood Apartments told police a man was trying to sell them meth.

On September 30th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the area of Ramblewood Apartments after multiple callers reported a black male with dreadlocks asking people if they wanted to buy meth. Units noticed and stopped a tan sedan trying to leave the area whose passenger matched the description, later identified as Dionte Cornelius Gunn.

When asked to step out of the vehicle, Gunn informed officers that he had pistols in both pockets, and was therefore detained. A search found one revolver, one semi-automatic pistol, one bag of methamphetamine weighing 3.4 grams, another bag weighing 3.8 grams, another bag weighing 0.4 grams, one bag of fentanyl weighing 3.7 grams, and a digital scale.

A K9 unit alerted on the vehicle and a search revealed more paraphernalia, including a glass pipe. Gunn also admitted to deputies that he had smoked the substances in the bag and that everything was his. While being transported to jail, Gunn became unresponsive and was taken to the Sango Emergency Room to be medically cleared.

Dionte Cornelius Gunn was arrested and charged with methamphetamine violation, possession of fentanyl for resale, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $65,000 bond.
