Man tells wife he feels seizure coming, then attacks her over texts to another man

35-year-old Nicholas Follis and 29-year-old Jessica Scott were charged with domestic assault after their argument over Scott sending texts to another man turned physical.

On October 5th, Clarksville Police Officer Adam Price arrived at Turtle Creek Townhomes, located at 2321 Raleigh Court, in response to a call about a domestic violence. Officer Price was informed that Nicholas Follis and Jessica Scott got into an altercation over old text messages between her and another man.

Follis, who has a history of seizures, messaged his wife stating that he was going to have a seizure. When Jessica arrived home, Follis was locked inside their bedroom. Follis told her that he was fine, but she picked the lock to the door so she could come in. Jessica on the bed next to Follis and showed him the phone and then lunged at him. At that point, the husband got in her face screaming, pushed her onto the bed, and struck her in the back of the head. After she freed herself from his grasp on the bed, he hit her again in the face.

Follis claimed after Scott lunged at him, she attempted to grab him multiple times. Follis told Price during Scott’s attempts to grab him, she ripped off his necklace and belt.

35-year-old Nicholas Follis was charged with domestic violence. He was released on a $500 bond.

29-year-old Jessica Scott was charged with domestic violence. She was released on a $500 bond.
