Clarksville man jailed on multiple charges after shoplifting $46 of merchandise

40-year-old Antwon Jones was charged with burglary, domestic assault, evading arrest, shoplifting, and driving on a suspended license when officers arrested him for shoplifting again from Walmart. He had taken $46 worth of merchandise.

On April 21st, Officers Knoblock and Cernick were dispatched to the Walmart located at 3050 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. According to the affidavit, the officers contacted asset protection officer Keneth Pedrosa who told them that Antwon Jones has passed the point of sale with $46 worth of items.

Jones has a history at the store showing criminal trespass and theft of property charges from 2015 as well as duplicate charges on two separate occasions in May of 2019.

On May 5th, Antwon Jones was arrested and charged with burglary, domestic assault, evading arrest, shoplifting, and driving on a suspended license. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $39,500 bond.
