Woman threatens self-harm, then points gun at boyfriend and says, “You should go first”

35-year-old Crystal Amber Bosel was charged with aggravated assault after her boyfriend convinced her to lower a gun she was pointing towards herself, and then aimed at him.

On October 4th, Clarksville Police Officer David Mann responded to a domestic violence call located at 2182 New England Place. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who advised him that his girlfriend, Crystal Bosel, hit him in the chest with a closed fist.

Bosel’s boyfriend proceeded to tell Officer Mann he found his girlfriend in the bedroom of their residence with a gun to her chest. He tried to talk her into putting the gun down when she then turned the gun to him and stated “Maybe you should go first”. Eventually, she put the gun down where he proceeded to take the gun and hide it away from her.

Crystal Bosel was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and domestic assault. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $5,500 bond.
