Woman giving CPR to overdosed driver found with drugs in vehicle

29-year-old Ashley Cobb was charged with possession of meth, cocaine, and Fentanyl, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and contraband in a penal institution when police found her giving CPR to an overdosed driver of her car that ran off the road.

On July 1st, Deputy Burkhart responded to an ambulance call at 1003 Lafayette Road and found Ashley Cobb giving CPR to a male subject. She told the deputy that the driver of her vehicle had an overdose and ran off the road.

Deputy Burkhart conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle where he found a baggie containing half a gram of methamphetamine. There was also 0.9 grams of Fentanyl inside of a cigarette pack found in the vehicle.

Ashley Cobb was arrested and charged with possession of meth, cocaine, and Fentanyl, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and contraband in a penal institution. Her bond was set at $31,000.
