Woman chases boyfriend around yard as he calls for help, per report

37-year-old Erica Burchell was charged with domestic assault after she chased her boyfriend around their home and attempted to attack him as he ran and called 911.

On October 8th, Clarksville Police Department Officer DeJesus arrived at Peachers Mill Court Townhomes, located at 808 Hidden Springs Drive, in response to a domestic disturbance call. Erica Burchell and her boyfriend, Jason LaRiviere, got into an argument that turned physical after he let his dog out.

Erica chased him outside and to the front parking lot, and continued to claw him while he was on the phone with 911. She claims that Jason punched her in the face twice and she was only defending herself. Officer DeJesus did note Burchelll’s right cheekbone was swollen, as well as cuts to her, “chest, nose, and back right shoulder.” DeJesus also noted a “redness” to the neck of Erica.

Erica Burchell was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was released on a $1,500 bond.
