Teen punches officer in face after fleeing on foot and ditching his empty Four Lokos

Feat Fearn Ian

19-year-old Ian Collin Fearn was charged with assault on an officer, criminal impersonation, public intoxication, evading and resisting arrest after punching an officer to escape after lying about his identity.

On November 4th, Clarksville Police Officer Morgan Baker responded to an assault call located at Harbor Freight, 668 North Riverside Drive. Officer Tribbett had initially made contact with a male who originally identified himself as Nathan Thompson. It was later discovered that the male gave officers a false name and date of birth and was then identified as Ian Collin Fearn.

Officer Tribbett had stated to Officer Baker that upon gathering information on Fearn, he detected the odor of alcohol emitting from his person. At this point, Fearn had thrown plastic bag full of empty “Four Loko” cans into a dumpster and began to run from the officer. After a brief foot pursuit, Officer Tribbett was able to get Fearn on the ground in attempt to detain him. According to Officer Tribbett, this is when Fearn had struck him on the right side of his face with a closed fist and continued to actively resist. Fearn was deemed a danger to himself and others and was place into custody.

Ian Collin Fearn was arrested and charged with assault on an officer, criminal impersonation, public intoxication, evading arrest, and resisting arrest. He was later released on a $25,500 bond.
