Keeling advised that he and Gamble were getting to know each other “in an adult fashion” when Gamble’s roommate, Cameron McLaughlin came home. McLaughlin walked into the room where he and Gamble were, then went to the closet and grabbed a shotgun. Keeling stated that he got dressed as quickly as possible while McLaughlin loaded the shotgun and pointed it at him yelling for him to leave. Keeling informed officers that he was not harmed but McLaughlin loaded the gun and pointed it at him until Gamble stepped in-between the two, allowing him to run out of the house.

Skyla Gamble advised officer Onfroy that she lives with McLaughlin and that they used to date. She reported that once McLaughlin went to the closet she assumed he was going for the shotgun and started telling Keeling to get out. She also stated the gun was loaded and pointed at Keeling until she stepped in-between the two.

Cameron McLaughlin was sitting on the front steps of the home with the shotgun when officers arrived. McLaughlin cleared the gun as he approached officers to give his side of the incident. McLaughlin stated that he came from his friend’s barrack and walked in to his home to find his girlfriend in bed with another man. He reported that he told Keeling to get out and then grabbed his shotgun from the closet and loaded it. According to McLaughlin he loaded the gun but pointed it towards the ceiling.
