47-year-old Karlton Hickman was charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend reported he grabbed her by the throat and poked her in the left eye.
On November 5th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Nicholas Rodriguez arrived at Turtle Creek Townhomes Apartments, located at 2325 Raleigh Court, in response to a domestic violence call. Karlton Hickman and his girlfriend, Jolynne Davis, had been arguing throughout the day about their relationship and their daughter’s college education.
Jolynne reported that during the argument Karlton grabbed her by the throat and poked her in the left eye several times. She was able to get away and call 911. Karlton stated that the altercation was verbal only. Officer Rodriguez made note that there “were no visible signs of injury” to Jolynne.
Karlton Hickman was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
