Man leaves girlfriend swollen, bloodied, and bruised; tosses meth over fence when cops arrive

35-year-old Branden Lee Hudson was charged with domestic assault, tampering with evidence, and possession of meth after drunkenly beating his girlfriend and tossing meth into his neighbor’s yard when the officer arrived.

On October 20th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Heather Hill arrived at the residence of 2618 Union Hall Road in response to a domestic violence call. Branden Lee Hudson had been drinking that night and became agitated with his girlfriend when she asked, “what the plans were.”

He reportedly punched her in the face multiple times while on top of her saying, “shut up.” Officer Hill noted her face was “severely swollen, bloody, and bruised.” A warrant was then issued for domestic assault.

Approximately 3 hours later, CPD Officer Matthew Cassford arrived at 2618 Union Hall Road after being notified Hudson returned to his home. Cassford saw Hudson toss something over the fence into his neighbor’s yard. A search of the yard revealed a bag containing 0.4 grams of meth.

Branden Lee Hudson was arrested and charged with domestic assault, tampering with evidence, and possession of meth. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $16,000 bond.
