Woman stabs ex-boyfriend in butt, sprays Biofreeze in his face

23-year-old Candelaria Montez was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest after she stabbed her boyfriend twice and sprayed Biofreeze in his face.

On October 21st, Clarksville Police Department Officer Darrius Robinson arrived at Independence Place Apartments located at 3193 Fort Campbell Boulevard in response to a domestic violence call. Demeiro Wilson was on the phone with his father talking about his son when his ex-girlfriend, Candelaria Maria Montez, became upset with him. According to Wilson, Montez sprayed Biofreeze in his face and stabbed him in his left knee and right butt cheek. He was able to lock himself in the bathroom, and she attempted to break the door down to get at him.

Montez told police she was mad at Wilson because he was cheating on her and that he used to beat her. She claimed to have no memory of the incident or where the knife came from. She kept pulling away from officers as they attempted to place her in handcuffs. When she was in the back of the police car, she started kicking the seat in front of her until she was pepper-sprayed.

Candelaria Maria Montez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
