Man has second overdose within a year; found in a field not breathing

23-year-old Christian Skeen was charged with being in possession of methamphetamine and Fentanyl when police found him not breathing in a field making this his second time overdosing within the past year.

On September 10th, in the area of Randell Drive and Peachers Mill Clarksville Police Officer Michael Hickmon found Christian Skeen not breathing lying in a field around 7 p.m. The field where he was found, not breathing but with a pulse, was across from 351 Randell Drive.

Skeen was administered Naloxone via Narcan when the Emergency Medical Services arrived. Officer Hickmon searched him to find an identification card but instead found .77 grams of methamphetamine in a bag and fentanyl in a piece of paper. This is the second time that Skeen has overdosed, the first time being on November 23rd, 2019. He was then transported to Tennova Hospital to be treated.

Christian Skeen was arrested and charged with a felony methamphetamine violation and simple possession of fentanyl. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $26,000 bond.
