Clarksville man assaults mother in her home by repeatedly pushing her

22-year-old Tavarus Farrow was charged with domestic assault and possession of a weapon while in commission of a felony. Farrow’s charges come in lieu of repeatedly demanding entry into his mother’s home, pushing her over when she answered the door and shoving her into her own kitchen counter.

On May 27th, Officer Lambert responded to a domestic disturbance in Clarksville. According to the affidavit, Tavarus Farrow had come home to his mother’s house and began to ring her doorbell continually. Farrow’s mother informed law enforcement that when she answered the door, Farrow shoved his way inside the residence, knocking down his mother in the process.

This initiated an altercation between Farrow and his mother which led to the kitchen. Farrow proceeded to allegedly push his mother into the kitchen counter. There was no drug or alcohol involvement throughout the incident, per the affidavit. Further investigation revealed no previous domestic history for either party.

Tavarus Farrow was arrested and charged with domestic assault and possession of a weapon while in commission of a felony. His bond was set at $26,000.
