59-year-old Kenneth Griffy was charged with a DUI when he was found asleep inside his car that was still running and admitted to drinking at least two beers per hour for the last several hours.
On June 3rd, MCSO Deputy Evans saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road in front of 1453 Woodlawn Road. He noticed Kenneth Griffy was asleep in the front seat of the vehicle with the keys still in the engine and the car running.
After he was awoken the deputy had him perform tasks for a field sobriety test where he showed signs of inebriation on all tasks. He told Deputy Evans that he drank approximately two beers every hour for the last several hours.
Kenneth Griffy was arrested and charged with a DUI. His bond was set at $1,500.
