McGill said they began wrestling and he pushed her onto a recliner where the male victim stated she grabbed his testicles which made him swat her hands away. McGill advised she had tweezers in her hand to defend herself from the male victim. She ran to her neighbor, Sara Bryant’s, home and asked her to call 911. Andrea Hancock, McGill’s mother, witnessed the events and confirmed the male victim’s statements. He had two small scratches on his right shoulder that did not need medical treatment. McGill was seen by EMS and refused transport.

Heather McGill was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $500.00.
