Woman charged with assault after stomping on boyfriend’s toe

50-year-old Nancy Rivera was charged with domestic assault after she stomped on her boyfriend’s foot and struck him multiple times.

On September 13th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Joshua Spain responded to a domestic violence call at 200 Holiday Drive. Units on the scene were approached by Nancy Rivera.

Rivera told officers that she and her boyfriend had gotten into a physical altercation in which both parties assaulted each other. Her boyfriend informed officers that Rivera had stomped on his toe and repeatedly struck him. He was also able to provide police with “substantial evidence” that Rivera was the primary aggressor.

Nancy Rivera was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,500.
