Teens charged after burgling cars and stealing chapstick, lighter, and cigarettes

19-year-old Andrew McCall, 19-year-old Levar Livingston, and 19-year-old Andrew Logsdon were charged with three counts of attempted auto burglary after they were reported and caught on camera “carhopping.”

On October 27th, Lee Ezell called officers to report that someone attempted to break into his vehicle located at 2661 Hidden Ridge Court. Lee had doorbell camera footage of three male individuals walking down his street and one of the men approached his vehicle but ran away when the security light came on. While Clarksville Police Officer Adair was on the scene, Mr. Ezell’s neighbors Joseph and Delores Conley called him and told him that they experienced the same incident a few moments prior at their residence, 536 Parkvue Village Way.

Later in the evening, Collin Hu called to report that three individuals attempted to break into his vehicle located at 308 Ellington Drive. The description of the three males matched the description from the other two incidents and they were identified as Andrew McCall, Levar Livingston, and Andrew Logsdon. Mrs. Rader contacted Clarksville Police to report that an individual matching the description of Andrew McCall was caught on surveillance video breaking into her husband’s Ford Edge and stealing a pack of cigarettes.

The three men were interviewed and their stories did not align with one another, however, they were all consistent in stating that they were walking around the locations of the victims’ homes for multiple hours. Andrew Logsdon did state that Levar Livingston was “carhopping” and attempting to open several cars. Video and photo footage provided by the three residences confirmed the three men to be the perpetrators. There were also several other calls later the next morning in regard to attempted burglaries in the same general area as the previous incidents. Andrew Logsdon has been featured on Scoop: Clarksville for domestic assault.

Andrew McCall was arrested and charged with burglary and three counts of attempted auto burglary. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $40,000 bond.
