Consensual stop and search unveils a total of three amphetamine pills

43-year-old Terry Richardson was charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving on suspended, and failure to display registration plates after he was pulled over for having a license plate cover and found to have three pills that tested positive for meth.

On October 24th, Clarksville Police Officer Pacheco initiated a traffic stop on a black Chrysler at the intersection of Providence Boulevard and Shelby Street. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Terry Richardson, pulled into 418 Shelby Street.

Officer Pacheco reported that an odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. Terry consented to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the discovery of three pills in a backpack with Terry’s ID. The three pills tested positive for methamphetamine and a check through the system showed that Terry’s license was suspended with an action date of September 17, 2012. Terry had previously been charged with driving on a suspended license on May 28, 2011, and November 25, 2019.

Terry Richardson was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving on a suspended license, and failure to display registration plates. He was released on a $7,500 bond.
