On October 27th, off-duty Cheatham County Deputy Kent observed Christopher Lampley traveling on Highway 12 and initiated a traffic stop. Shortly after, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Morgan arrived on the scene and had Christopher perform field sobriety tasks due to the fact that he detected a smell of an alcoholic beverage on his person. Christopher admitted that he was “buzzed” and refused to continue the field sobriety tasks. He did agree to a breathalyzer and received his first DUI offense.

Christopher Lampley was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
