Teen arrested after sitting on girlfriend and popping her wrist

19-year-old Coby Rief was charged with two counts of domestic assault and interference with emergency calls after a dispute with his mother and girlfriend.

On August 18th, Officer Ashford arrived at 356 Peabody Drive in response to a domestic in progress. Ashford talked with Kalee Riggan and Deborah Moore. Riggan told authorities she and Coby Rief were in an argument that turned physical. Rief sat on Riggan, punched her right foot, and grabbed her wrist such that it popped while he was holding it.

Rief left shortly thereafter, but came back and faced his mother at the door. Moore told Rief that he was not allowed to stay there and that she was going to call the police. Rief pushed his way in, grabbed her phone, and walked back outside with it. He eventually did return the phone and then left on foot. All parties corroborated pushing and shoving among them.

I reached out to all parties involved, but each declined to comment.

Coby Rief was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault, and interference with emergency calls. His bond was set at $7,500.
