23-year-old Shannon Elliott was charged with domestic assault after leaving a mark on her sister when she would not let her boyfriend come over for a visit.
On October 17th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Hampton arrived at Attaway Village Apartments, located at 818 Prewitt Lane, in response to a domestic violence call.
Shannon Elliott and her sister, Kayla Thorpe, got into an argument because Elliot wanted to have her boyfriend come to Thorpe’s home, but Thorpe said no. They went back and forth over it until Thorpe told Elliott to get out. They went upstairs to get Elliott’s child and possessions. Elliott hit Thorpe on the right side of her head while in her apartment. Officer Hampton noted there was a red mark on her head. He was unable to speak to Elliott as she left before the police arrived.
Shannon Elliott was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was released on a $500 bond.
