Duo declines to claim ownership of over half-ounce of meth and three hundred baggies in their truck

41-year-old Adam Felts and 41-year-old Robert Neale were charged with meth with intent, paraphernalia, and marijuana after failing to stop at a stop sign and storing 15 grams of meth in their truck. Adam Felts was additionally charged with his seventh driving on a suspended license.

On October 17th, Officer Freeman conducted a traffic stop at KFC, located at 1879 Madison Street, when he witnessed a Chevrolet S-10 truck fail to completely stop at a stop sign. When Officer Freeman initiated the stop, the vehicle took a longer time than usual to come to a halt, so he immediately detained the driver. The driver was identified as Adam Felts and the passenger was found to be Robert Neale.

Officer Freeman could see in plain view a cut straw with residue in the driverside door and proceeded to search the vehicle. A bag that contained approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine, a metal pipe, a blunt, and two unopened bags containing 150 smaller resealable bags each were discovered in the search. Neither Felts nor Neale claimed ownership over any of the items. Felts was also confirmed through the system to be driving on a suspended license for the seventh time.

Adam Felts was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and driving on a suspended license for his seventh offense. His case was bound over to a grand jury, and he is currently jailed in lieu of a $16,500 bond.

Robert Neale was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. His case was bound over to a grand jury, and he is currently jailed in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
