Passenger charged with meth violations after unidentified driver failed to signal

36-year-old Steven Neblett was charged with methamphetamine violations when he was found to have methamphetamine after an unidentified driver was pulled over for failing to use a turn signal while turning right.

On July 31st, Officer Nemeth instituted a traffic stop at 1768 Evans Road on a vehicle that failed to use a turn signal for a right turn. The driver of the vehicle remains unidentified. One passenger, John White, admitted to having a rig that was used to consume opiates and narcotics.

Officers performed a probable cause search of the other passenger, Steven Neblett. A syringe was found in his pocket as well as a plastic baggie that contained methamphetamine. An NCIC (National Crime Information Center) search exposed active warrants for Neblett’s arrest.

Steven Neblett was arrested and charged with methamphetamine violations. His bond was set at $1,000.
