Man tells girlfriend he’ll “choke the life” out of her when she confronts him

53-year-old Anthony Lamar Hart was charged with aggravated assault after his girlfriend confronted him about items she believed to be stolen and he threw her to the ground.

On October 11th, Clarksville Police Officer Adam Bagwell responded to a domestic violence call located at the residence of 412 Shelby St. Upon arrival, Officer Bagwell made contact with Tracy Williams. Williams stated that she confronted her live-in boyfriend, Anthony Hart, about some items that she believed he had stolen.

After confronting the Hart, he put both of his hands on her neck and began to strangle her while stating he would, “choke the life out of her”. Hart then threw her to the ground and left the residence. It was noted Tracy had visible red marks on her neck. The couple has a prior history of domestic violence.

Anthony Hart was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $15,000 bond.
