42-year-old Lee Mcillwain was charged with domestic assault and child abuse when he shoved his wife to the ground while she was holding her 6-week-old child. Lee denies this statement and insists there was nothing more than a verbal altercation.
On August 15th, Deputy Parsons was sent to do a welfare check after a 911 hang up. The deputy states upon arrival at 4860 Tuckaway Court, they heard a scream at the door. Parsons called for back up and made contact with Lee at the driveway when they arrived on the scene. Once the officers entered the house they made contact with Haley Mcillwain, Lee’s wife.
Haley told the officers that Lee had shoved her to the ground in their bedroom while she was holding her 6-week-old child. Lee denied these allegations and said nothing happened other than a verbal altercation. Although, officers observed Haley had a swollen right eye, busted lip, and marks on her hands. The child had a slight mark on his head.
Lee Mcillwain was arrested and charged with domestic assault and child abuse and neglect. His bond was set at $3,000.
