19-year-old Martell Jones was charged with simple possession when police recognized him for an outstanding warrant while patrolling in the Lincoln Homes area. When he was searched, crack cocaine was found in his pockets.
On August 12th, Officer Andrea Martin observed Martell Jones, who had an active warrant, walking in the area of Vanleer Street and Lincoln Drive.
A check through NCIC confirmed Martell Jones to have a local warrant on file with an original charge of simple possession. During a search incident to arrest, crack cocaine was found in the coin pocket of his jeans.
