38-year-old Steve Negron was charged with domestic assault and driving on a suspended license after he reportedly punched his girlfriend at Rural King, and he was spotted going into a driveway by authorities.

On November 24th, Clarksville Police Officer Kayla Billotte responded to domestic violence with simple assault at Rural King, 1141 Fort Campbell Boulevard. Per the affidavit, Officers received a call in which the witness saw a dark gray Taurus pull into the Rural King parking lot, and saw a man, later identified as Steve Negron, punch the victim, Courtney Neill, multiple times. Neill got out of the car and got into the rear passenger side and Negron got into the driver’s side. The witness stated that Negron drove the vehicle north on Ft. Campbell, and made a right turn onto Old Hopkinsville Road before pulling into the driveway at 107 Old Hopkinsville Road.

Officer Billotte spoke with Steve Negron who said that he came from the downtown area and got into a verbal argument with Courtney Neill but said that it was only a verbal argument. Reportedly, when Officer Billotte spoke with Courtney Neill she noticed that she had blood coming from the right side of her face near her ear. Neill also stated that she did not know how her face got injured and did not want to speak with the officers. She also declined for officers to take pictures of her injuries. Because of the witness statements and injuries on the victim, Steve Negron was placed into custody. An NCIC check confirmed that Negron was driving with a suspended license.

Steve Negron was arrested and charged with domestic assault and driving on a suspended license. He was later released of his own recognizance.
