28-year-old Andrew Mcelvain was charged with domestic assault after he reportedly pushed his wife and forced himself on her while arguing about their children.
On November 27th, Clarksville Police Officer Robin responded to a call for service at 3193 Fort Campbell Boulevard, Apartment 111. Upon arrival, contact was made with Miranda and Andrew Mcelvain. Miranda claimed that they got into a verbal argument because Andrew would not let her take their children back to Florida with her.
She continued, saying she was lying on the bed when he dragged her off and pushed her into the bathroom. Once there, he began to force himself on her. He started to kiss her and attempted to put his hands in her pants. He also kicked and punched the door in anger before she ran outside and called 911. Andrew told officers they got into a verbal altercation, but nothing physical happened.
Andrew Mcelvain was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.
