Soldier pushes girlfriend twice in defense of 4-year-old daughter

25-year-old Janeisha Hyde was charged with domestic assault after her live-in girlfriend reportedly kicked off her shoe and struck Hyde’s 4-year-old daughter. Hyde became irate and pushed her girlfriend while in the apartment.

On December 6th, Clarksville Police Officer Kristen Ashford responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex located at 162 Jack Miller Boulevard Apartment 105. According to the affidavit, Officer Ashford met with Janeisha Hyde outside the residence.

Janeisha stated to Officer Ashford she and her girlfriend Lauren Simmons had a verbal altercation which became physical. Janeisha reportedly explained that Lauren was kicking her shoes off one shoe hit her 4-year-old daughter. Lauren admitted that while following Janeosha the stairs, she pushed her. When Lauren tried to strike Janeisha, she pushed Lauren again. Lauren says she does not remember how either of them ended up downstairs, and that she was hit around her left eye but showed no signs of injury.

Janeisha Hyde was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on a $250 bond.
