Irate young adult resists police and gets tased after going ballistic on stepmother

20-year-old Zachary Holloway was charged with assault on an officer, vandalism, public intoxication, and resisting arrest after he went ballistic and threw stuff around in his stepmother’s garage, ran when she called the police, and had to be tased to be apprehended.

On May 17th, Officer Jan Salcedo made contact with victims in the response of a simple assault at 309 Broadmore Drive. They reported that Zachary Holloway lives there. One of the victims told the officer that she is his stepmother and they were hanging out in their garage when he went ballistic. She said he began throwing things around the garage and damaging several things, including a scooter and bicycle belonging to his younger sister as well as a motorcycle.

Holloway was not at the scene when police arrived but police later recognized him yelling in the general area. Police described Holloway as belligerent, screaming, smelling heavily of alcohol and irate so they decided to detain him. He resisted arrest and pushed Officer Brisson so Officer Salcedo deployed his taser to subdue Holloway. Then he was transported to Tennova to remove the probes and he was medically cleared to be moved to Montgomery Jail.

Zachary Holloway was arrested and charged with assault on an officer, vandalism, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $10,500.
