32-year-old Ashley Nicole Jones was charged with aggravated domestic assault and violation of conditions of release after her husband reported she slapped him in the face while he was driving.
On October 1st, Clarksville Police Officer Andrew Thomas performed a traffic stop at Action Cycles, 1174 Fort Campbell Boulevard, in relation to a domestic assault reported by the husband of Ashley Nicole Jones.
Officers made contact with her husband in the Ford F-250, who stated to the police that he was slapped in the face by his wife while he was driving. When officers spoke with Mrs. Jones, they noted the odor of alcohol coming from her. She admitted she had been drinking and told officers they had just had a verbal altercation. A check of their systems revealed to officers Mrs. Jones was out under conditions of release, and was violating them by consuming alcohol and assaulting her husband.
Ashley Nicole Jones was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and violation of conditions of release. She was released on a $6,000 bond.
