Man drenches brother in Speedway parking lot

45-year-old Gary Stewart was charged with domestic assault after he and his brother were arguing and a drink went flying at the Providence Boulevard Speedway.

On October 1st, Clarksville Police Officer Lyssed Pacheco responded to a domestic in progress at Speedway located at 320 Providence Boulevard. Gary Stewart and his brother were physically fighting in the parking lot near a white Ford pickup. Stewart’s brother told Officer Pacheco that he began to argue with him and became upset and threw a drink at him.

The victim stated that he hit Stewart and then both individuals began to shove each other. Officer Pacheco did observe the victim covered with the drink that Stewart had thrown at him.

Gary Stewart was arrested and charged with simple domestic assault. He was released on a $250 bond.
