25-year-old Janae Jackson was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane change after she reportedly was witnessed drifting from her lane, and she failed administered field sobriety tests with vomit on her pant leg.
On November 24th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy LeBlanc reported a red Ford Fusion failing to maintain its lane of traffic. The deputy then initiated a traffic stop at Fort Campbell Boulevard and Avalon Street and advised the vehicle smelled of alcohol when they approached the window.
Deputy LeBlanc stated there was vomit on the floorboard as well as on the pant leg of the driver, Janae Jackson. According to the affidavit, several sobriety tests were given to Jackson, which she performed poorly on all of them. She also denied giving a blood sample several times when the police asked.
Janae Jackson was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane change. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
