62-year-old Gary Darnell was charged with domestic assault after dragging his spouse down a hallway during a dispute between the two. Officers observed that the woman sustained injuries to her head, lip, and ribs from Darnell pulling her around.
On June 14th, Officer Tribbett was dispatched to a call of domestic violence. Upon arrival, Tribbett made contact with the spouse of Gary Darnell, who informed law enforcement that Darnell had reportedly struck her in the head and pulled her down a hallway during a verbal altercation. The spouse was observed by Tribbett to have a knot on her head, an injured lip, and rib pain from the alleged attack.
The woman was examined by emergency medical services but denied medical transport to the hospital. According to Darnell, the two had been involved in a verbal dispute, but no violence had taken place that evening. Darnell was determined by law enforcement to be the primary aggressor in the incident.
