37-year-old Shawna Hutson was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass after being involved in a brawl with another woman at Brothers Market on Kraft Street. Further investigation revealed that Hutson had been barred from the convenience store as of October of 2019.
On May 31st, Officer Lee was dispatched to Brothers Market located on 360 Kraft Street in regards to someone who was publicly intoxicated. Upon arrival, Lee met with Shawna Hutson, who informed the officer that she had been in a physical confrontation with another woman at the convenience store.
According to the affidavit, Hutson emitted the scent of alcohol on her person and was unstable on her feet, per report. Law enforcement also noted that most of what Hutson was saying was not able to be understood. It was later revealed that Hutson had been barred from the location since October of 2019. Hutson was then taken into custody for public intoxication and criminal trespass.
Shawna Hutson was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication. Her bond was set at $1,500.
