Fugitive busts out two windows at Midtown Inn

26-year-old Daniel Shoemate was charged with vandalism, violation of probation, and criminal trespassing after he caused $1,200 worth of damage at Midtown Inn.

On October 24th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Jeffery Carnagey arrived at the Midtown Inn located at 890 Kraft Street in response to a vandalism call. He reported seeing a fire extinguisher on the ground and the windows of Room 26 and 27 broken.

Several people there told him it was the man in Room 30 who busted the windows. Per the report, the officer went to Room 30 and found Daniel Shoemate who confirmed that he broke the windows for no apparent reason. The windows were valued at $1,200.

Daniel Shoemate was arrested and charged with vandalism. He also had two outstanding warrants for violation of probation and criminal trespassing. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $4,500 bond.
