Fugitive apprehended when he was caught snoozing with another man at Jet Car Wash

46-year-old Jeremy Joe Page was charged with theft, possession of marijuana, and possession of methamphetamine after authorities found him asleep at a local car wash behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle.

On October 24th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Potter had driven by a car that was located at Jet Car Wash, 560 Dover Road, and observed a white chevy Tahoe in the 2nd bay with no one in the near sight of the vehicle, or washing it. Officer Potter went to the nearest gas station and came back around and again saw no one near the vehicle.

Upon the approach of the vehicle, the officer observed two males sleeping inside. The officer then made contact with the men and asked for their ID’s and proceeded to run their information. While running their information into the computer, the officer was informed that Jeremy Page had a possible warrant out of the state of Kentucky. Officer Potter proceeded to ask both gentlemen out of the vehicle and detained them both. He then searched the vehicle and Page’s property, inside the car Officer Potter found .3 grams of suspected meth and a marijuana “roach” inside of a cigarette pack. After a field test, it was confirmed that what the officer found had tested positive for methamphetamine. It’s also noticed that after also running the tags on the Tahoe, the vehicle was confirmed and reported stolen out of Cadiz, Kentucky on October 20th.

Jeremy Joe Page was arrested and charged with theft, possession of marijuana, and possession of methamphetamine. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $26,000 bond.
