67-year-old Della Wise was charged with domestic assault after slapping another woman across the face during a dispute where the woman was accused of stealing Wise’s phone charger.
On June 29th, Officer Honeycutt was dispatched to 920 Greenwood Ave in regards to a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Honeycutt made contact with an unidentified woman, who informed law enforcement that she had been involved in an altercation a day before at 1012 Buck Drive.
According to the affidavit, Wise accused the woman of stealing a phone charger. The accusation generated a verbal dispute between both parties, in which Wise turned physical by reportedly striking the woman in the face with an open hand.
Della Wise was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $250.
