Clarksville woman admits to taking a “blue pill”, charged with public intoxication

26-year-old Raven Rimmer was charged with being under an altered mental state when police showed up to a possible breaking and entering into a vehicle and found Rimmer who later told police that she smoked marijuana and took a “blue pill.”

On May 24th, around 10 pm Clarksville Police Department (CPD) Officer Novenario made contact with the defendant, Raven Rimmer, in response to a public intoxication or possible breaking and entering call at 318 Conroy Avenue. Police described her as being in an altered mental state and was able to get her name but not her birthday.

As she was being detained she pulled away from the officer and resisted arrest. Officer Novenario positively identified Rimmer later on and she told the police that she was under the influence of marijuana and that she took a blue pill earlier that evening. She was determined to be a danger to herself so she was placed into custody and transported to Montgomery Jail.

Raven Rimmer was arrested and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. Her bond was set at $1,500.
