Clarksville man violates order of protection, leaves neighbors in fear

37-year-old Joshua Mullins was charged with abuse of the elderly, forgery, two counts of identity theft, two counts of theft of property, and violation of a restraining order. His charges stem from violating an order of protection near a home on Nashboro Road where he was then caught with three warrants for his arrest, according to the National Crime Information Center.

On May 12th, Officers Blamer and Matthews received a call regarding a violation of an order of protection at 502 Nashboro Road. Joshua Mullins was seen near the address when he was spotted by a neighbor at 10 a.m. that morning. The neighbor claimed that the homeowner was “placed in fear” due to his violation of the order, according to the affidavit.

Officers found Mullins in the back bedroom of the home and, upon further investigation, discovered three warrants out for his arrest. Despite finding the warrants, no order of protection was found. Three days later, the order of protection was recovered and confirmed by the National Crime Information Center. The OOP was dated for March 3rd.

Joshua Mullins was arrested and charged with abuse of the elderly, forgery, two counts of identity theft, 2 counts of theft of property, and violation of a restraining order. His bond was set at $25,000.
