Clarksville man throws speaker at wife and locks her in a bedroom

40-year-old Alfred Taylor was charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment after his wife called police in fear their argument would turn physical.

On August 23rd, Deputy Burkhart arrived at 1309 Jared Court in response to a domestic in progress. Burkhart was met by Autumn Nicholas outside, and she reported that she and her husband, Alfred Taylor, were in an argument and she was afraid would turn physical.

Nicholas told authorities that Taylor shut their bedroom door, locked it, and began throwing things in the room. At some point, Taylor threw a speaker in her direction, and he stopped her when she attempted to leave.

Alfred Taylor was arrested and charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment. His bond was set at $1,000.
