Clarksville man slams woman on bed, screams at her to “shut the hell up and stop screaming”

38-year-old Curtis Christmas was charged with domestic assault after grabbing a woman by the face and slamming her against the bed, screaming at her to shut up, and slapping her in the face.

On July 18th, Officer Benjamin Tribbet responded to a domestic assault at 929 Charlotte Street. Officer Tribbett spoke with the victim on the front porch of the residence. The woman advised that she and Curtis Christmas had been arguing when he grabbed her by her head with both hands and slammed her to the bed. He then began shouting at her to “Shut the hell up and stop screaming”, and then slapped her on the left side of her face.

Medics on the scene performed immediate first aid, but she was not transported for any further treatment. Officers spoke with Christmas in his vehicle when he attempted to leave the residence. He advised police that the argument was only verbal and there was no physical altercation. However, officers determined Curtis Christmas to be the primary aggressor and he was taken into custody.

Curtis Christmas was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $2,500.
